A Linder elementary school ground-breaking ceremony was held recently to celebrate the start of the construction of the new Linder school. Austin Independent School District (AISD) leaders (including Matias Segura, Superintendent and Board of Trustee Members), Linder school administration, and the community took part in the event.

Below are pictures of AISD representatives and images of the proposed new school whose design is inspired by projects from across the nation.

The project involves a full modernization of the existing Linder campus at its current location. The new building will feature flexible learning spaces to support a variety of learning styles. Project design began in spring 2023 and the new campus is anticipated to open in fall 2026.
