Welcome to Linder Elementary!

We are thrilled to welcome you to a new year at Dorothy Linder Elementary, where learning, growth, and exciting new experiences await our students. This year will be full of opportunities for academic, social, and emotional development, supported by our dedicated teachers and staff who are committed to providing a rigorous academic program.

At Linder, we put students first. Through specialized programs such as our Dual Language program, Social Emotional Learning via Character Strong, Gifted and Talented Education, STREAM programming, and UIL academic teams, students are challenged to think critically and find creative solutions to real-world problems. Collaboration and teamwork are key, as students learn to work together in groups and through the use of technology.

We’re also focused on building and strengthening our community involvement, and we encourage families to join our PTA and become active participants in our school community.

Outside of academics, our students have opportunities to participate in ACE after-school programs, Safety Patrol, The Eagle Soccer team, and the PALS student mentor program, all of which foster leadership and character development. Linder also celebrates the arts with programs like our Ballet Folklórico dance team, music clubs, and arts classes, allowing students to explore their artistic talents.
