Dorothy Linder Elementary School

Campus Leadership

Principal Rodriguez

This is my fifteenth year in AISD, during which I have been an elementary school teacher, worked as an elementary instructional specialist for K-5th, and served as an assistant principal.  I am eager to continue my passion for educating all students at Dorothy Linder Elementary.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where I received my Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development and Master of Education with a focus on social justice and equity. I am married with two wonderful children, ages 9 and 7, both of whom are students in Austin ISD, and a 5-year-old Yorkie. I enjoy jogging, dancing, family movie nights, and reading with my family. I am honored to be the principal of Linder and I am looking forward to getting to know and support the students, families, and staff at Linder Elementary!

As a proud AISD product, I look forward to working with ALL students. As a bilingual educator and advocate, I strive to build positive relationships with all students, parents, colleagues, and the community.

During my career,  I have coached soccer, basketball, and Ultimate Frisbee to encourage sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle. For the past four years, I have taught Robotics at our AISD EMVT STEM Summer Camp. I am eager to work and support the students at Linder Elementary.

I am a proud graduate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013 where I received my Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development. In 2017, I received my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I am married and a proud father of two beautiful daughters. I enjoy sports, spending time with family, and being outdoors. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to support the Linder community!
